The name Bonvario came from joining two words - Bon & Vario, Bon is a French word which means good and Vario is an Italian word which means varied or various. These two words were coupled together to project good various speed gearboxes or geared motors which has always been the true identity of our group.


Bonvario initially started manufacturing of loose gears in 1981 and gained high level of acceptance in the market for its quality, reliability and after sales support. Later With growing demand for complete assembled maintenance free gearboxes our company started production of BL series worm gearboxes back in 1996 followed by BH series helical gearboxes & BV series Variators. With mounting demand for electric motors used with our existing products, in 2001 our group acquired a big motor manufacturing company and started manufacturing electric motors, making our group a complete automation solution supplier.
